Hi Manu P & Andrea Rubolini, great to meet you both! Congrats on the release of ‘No Text’!

Hello, our pleasure.

Thank you very much, we are very happy with how this release went.

Can you tell us more about the story behind your track? What is your inspiration behind it?

We are taking a lot of inspiration from what we think is right to propose during our DJ sets. We are convinced that the right sound is something between House and Tech House without exaggerating the rhythms too much. From this also comes ‘No Text’.

Can you tell us more about the meaning behind the title of the song?

Ah, it’s very simple. We didn’t know what title to give to it, so… ‘no text’ 😊

Were there any musical influences that inspired you to create this track, if so, could you tell us more about it?

As we said before, we are producing what is right for us to play. So ,something house with some Tech House sounds too. At the moment this is what we like.

Were there any new sound elements or new plugins you explored with in this production?

Basically, we have our own production setup and we work around that.

You’ve been collaborating and producing new tracks for some time now; did you produce this track in person or remotely? Were there any new challenges you faced with this particular production?

We always produce all the songs together and in the presence of each other. Ever since the first song we composed.

Was there something new you learned from the process creating this track that you think could be helpful to share with up-and-coming producers?

I believe that we must try to produce what we would like to offer to the public without being influenced by the rhythms of current fashion.

Do you anticipate more collaborations coming later this year?

Absolutely yes, we are working on at least 5 more songs together.

Do you have future plans to perform this track live?

We are playing it every Saturday during our live events.

We thank Manu P and Andrea Rubolini for their time sharing their inspiration and the process behind their latest release ‘No Text;’ as usual collaborators, it is not strange to find this track has a perfect blend of their personal sounds, having as a result a cohesive party-starter that is poised to reach new milestones for this talented duo.
