by After 15 years in music, Mr. Polska is taking his career in a new direction. Armed with an unmistakable stage presence, boundless energy and, occasionally, a jar of Polish pickles, the Dutch-Polish artist is bringing a new kind of live experience to the international techno and hard dance scene.
His latest project combines the raw intensity of techno with the unpredictability and presence of a live frontman. Rather than performing from behind the decks, Mr. Polska places himself at the centre of the crowd, combining live vocals, performance, audience interaction and electronic music in one high-energy show.
In the Netherlands, Mr. Polska is closely associated with Nouveau Riche, mosh pits and a generation-defining wave of Dutch hip-hop. He broke through in the early 2010s with a series of successful tracks, including “Hausa Wausa,” “Allermooiste Feestje,” “Zusje,” “Krokobil” and “Niemand.” Together, the songs have generated tens of millions of streams, while establishing him as a regular presence at major festivals and in the Dutch charts.
His influence also extends to Poland, where he has built a successful second career. Tracks such as “Złote Tarasy” and “Jagodzianki i Pistolet” have made him a recognised name within the Polish music scene. Across his Dutch and Polish releases, Mr. Polska has accumulated more than 160 million Spotify streams and performed in sold-out clubs and at festivals throughout both countries.
The 37-year-old artist has also released multiple gold and platinum records and collaborated with artists including Major Lazer, Yellow Claw and Ronnie Flex. His work has additionally been connected to Diplo’s Mad Decent label. Despite that success, Mr. Polska says he is far from finished.
His next chapter began with “Polska Jumpstyle,” a collaboration with Natte Visstick and Vieze Asbak. The track quickly gained momentum within the harder electronic music community, eventually surpassing 42 million streams. It was supported by DJs including Sara Landry, FANTASM, Nico Moreno and Diplo, and featured at major techno and hard dance festivals around the world, including Tomorrowland’s MainStage.
Follow-up releases such as “The Otherside,” “Sneuvelnation VIP” and “SPRING” have further established the direction. In particular, “SPRING” became a viral hit in Germany and has developed into a prominent festival track.
Now, Mr. Polska is bringing the energy of those releases to the stage through a full-scale live concept.
A Different Approach to Techno
The new show takes a different approach from the traditional DJ set. While most techno programming is built around an artist performing behind the decks, Mr. Polska’s concept is centred on the frontman: an artist who leads the crowd, builds tension and drives the dynamics of the room from the stage.
Early performances at Teletech and Nachtwacht have already offered audiences a preview of the format. Alongside live vocals and high-impact performance, Mr. Polska has become known for handing out Polish pickles to fans between tracks—an unexpected detail that reflects the playful and unpredictable character of the show.
The response has been strongly positive. At these performances, Mr. Polska has begun to establish himself as a frontman of the rave: someone who does not simply play music, but actively directs the energy of the room and makes the audience part of the performance.

For Mr. Polska, the move represents a natural progression rather than a sudden change. Born in Poland, raised in the Netherlands and initially established within Dutch hip-hop, he has spent his career moving between rap, rave and electronic music. The boundaries separating those genres have never been particularly strict in his work.
The development has also attracted the attention of Odysseys, the booking agency representing several leading names in the contemporary hard techno scene. The agency has joined forces with Mr. Polska as he expands the new live concept internationally.
Following a sold-out Dutch club tour and performances at Teletech, Nachtwacht and Zwarte Cross, Mr. Polska is scheduled to appear at festivals including DURO in Spain and Scandal in the Netherlands, alongside additional international shows. The concept will be rolled out in the coming months, with the long-term ambition of reaching major techno and hard dance stages worldwide.
After 15 years of connecting different musical worlds, Mr. Polska is now bringing that same approach to the rave. Not as a DJ, and not simply as a rapper performing a handful of songs, but as a frontman who turns the crowd into part of the show.
